Mrs. Bettie Jo Parker, age 55, of Hickman, Ky. passed away, Sun., May 12, 2024 at her residence.

She was born on Feb. 1, 1969 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Austin Evans and Byrd Propes Evans of Martin, Tenn.

Bettie was a member of The Anchor Church in Union City and was a CNA/Med Tech at the Arbor Place in Clinton.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Ricky Parker, to whom she was married Oct. 15, 2004, her children: Corey (Wendy) Gansert of Hickman, Ky., Casey Evans of Union City City, Tenn., Jane Parker of Hickman, Ky. and Josh Parker of Kansas City, Mo., five grandchildren: Cheyenne Readenour of Hickman, Ky., Abigail Wombles of Ohio, Devin Brown of Hickman, Ky., Seth Gascoigne of Hickman, Ky. and Triston Gascoigne of Hickman, Ky., two great-grandchildren: Ilah Readenour and Lilli Readenour both of Hickman, Ky., her siblings: Bobbie Jo Spurlock of Martin, Tenn., Billy Joe Farley of Troy, Tenn., Austin Evans of Campbellsville, Ky. and Jamie Evans of Louisville, Ky..

Funeral services for Mrs. Bettie Jo Parker will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman, 903 Broadway St., with burial to follow in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman from 12 noon Wednesday until the hour of service.
