She was loved very much and loved her family well.
The matriarch of our family, and a blessing to all who knew her. A proud Christian, a devoted wife, mother, Mamoo + Nan, sister, and friend, Joan will be dearly and deeply missed. She enjoyed spending her days with her family at home, and being amongst her beautiful flower gardens. She was creative, an artist with many mediums, and enjoyed writing poetry. She was supportive, encouraging, witty, and a confidant to many. She was so very loved by so many and will be greatly missed. She also started and owned her own doll making business in 1981 in order to stay home with her children as they were growing up. It became quite successful and was able to employee her children when they grew up and allowed her husband to retire early and be a partner with her. They retired the business in 2023.
In lieu of flowers donations can made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
